New Job

Searching for a new job

Once you have made the decision on quitting, you should initiate the search for a new job. Such a search should be made with discretion. The higher the level of the person in the organizational hierachy, the greater the discrtion should be shown by him. Some basic guidelines may be of help to a prospecitve job-changer.

Junior Level

For Junior-level management positions, a direct application advertisement does produce results. If the educational background is impressive and the candidate has not changed jobs during the last three years, his chances for being short listed are bright. If the candidate has worked for less than three years, he should meet the recruitment manager and convince him of genuine reasons for seeking a change. Only after that the interview letter will come. Cyclostyled or printed bio-data should never be used as they are considered to be symptoms of job-hopping.
